We don't invest in...
We invest in many different categories. But certainly not in everything. We do not put money in oil, gas, tar sands and coal. Or in countries that are subject to sanctions. You can read more about this below.
Companies
There are hundreds of companies in which we don't want to invest. Because they earn their money from fossil energy. Or because they produce tobacco or fur. Because they are active in the sex industry. Or because they manufacture weapons that cause excessive suffering. Furthermore, we discontinue our investment in companies that do not want to enter into a dialogue with us or that make too little progress despite this dialogue. In that case, we leave!
Below is a list of companies in which we don't invest in and why not. We update the overview every three months. The next time will be around June 30th 2024.

Countries in which we do not invest
We do not put money into government loans to countries subject to sanctions, such as an arms embargo. Countries subject to a travel ban are also blacklisted, as are countries whose assets have been frozen. Often, these are countries waging an unjust war.

Weapons
We are living in world that feels unsafe, with international tensions. It is important that we can defend ourselves. Our army and those of our allies must be properly armed. Our police officers also carry guns. So investing in arms manufacturers is not necessarily wrong. But we don't invest in manufacturers of hand guns for consumers. And we also do not invest in manufacturers of weapons that cause excessive suffering, such as nuclear weapons, cluster bombs and land mines.
