‘Future of Pensions’ legislative proposal adopted by House of Representatives

New pension rules
Published on:

The House of Representatives has adopted the ‘Future of Pensions’ legislative proposal. The legislative proposal will now go to the Senate. The new act is intended to take effect on 1 July 2023. After that, pension funds will have until 2027 to implement the new pension scheme.

New pension scheme by 2027

Employer and employee organisations are making concrete agreements on the transition to a new pension scheme for PME. This new pension scheme must be implemented by 2027 at the latest, or as much earlier as we can. That is why we have already started our preparations.

Nothing changes for you now

For the time being, nothing will change for you. Changes will not take place until the new pension scheme comes into effect. This will be in 2027 at the latest, but may also be earlier. We will keep you informed of any developments in the meantime.
