Nomination and elections for two board seats

On 1 July 2026, the term of the two board members who represent people receiving a pension will expire. Candidates can be nominated for these two seats.
The board of PME has several representatives. They represent employers and employees in our sector, but also everyone who receives a pension from PME. On 1 July 2026, the term of the two board members who represent people receiving a pension will expire. This means that candidates can be nominated for these two seats.
Nomination until 15 November 2025
The nomination is made by the organisations that are involved in PME under the Articles of Association. These are FNV, CNV, De Unie, VHP2 and VGPME. They may choose to renominate the current board members. Other organisations may also nominate candidates. These organisations must, however, have the aim under the Articles of Association of representing the interests of people who receive a pension from PME. People may also nominate someone or nominate themselves. You can register until 15 November 2025.
Possible elections in April 2026
If there more than two suitable candidates for the vacant board positions, elections will be held in April 2026. Anyone receiving a pension from PME may vote for their favourite candidate. The two candidates with the most votes are appointed by the board of PME. This is subject to the condition that they receive approval from the regulator De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB).
Profile and conditions
A profile has been drawn up for the two board positions. An election commission assesses whether the candidates meet the profile. An external knowledge and suitability test is part of this assessment.
