It is important to us that you are satisfied with our services. That’s why we conducted another survey this spring. We received over 2,300 responses. We really appreciate that. The results show what is going well and give us ideas to further improve our communication and services.

Here’s what you think of PME

  • Confidence in PME remains high
    You are positive about PME again this year. Confidence in PME remains high at 7.5. People who are already retired in particular gave us a high score: a 7.9. This primarily reflects the amount of the pension, the pension scheme itself and the financial situation. These figures show that you see PME as a reliable partner for now and in the future.
  • This applies to PME according to you
    When we ask what applies to PME, you say reliable, accessible and open. You also regard being reliable and accessible as important values in a pension fund. In addition, personal and cost-conscious are seen as important values for a pension fund.
  • You have a good understanding of the pension
    Almost 90% of you say you understand the personal pension statement and the information we send. About 75% know what choices exist and what those choices mean for the pension.
  • You want to know more about this
    Some members would like to receive additional information. Most questions are about the new pension scheme, retiring earlier and how PME invests. We will include these topics in our communication, so that you know even better what to expect.
  • Sustainable investing is not clear to everyone
    Many people do not yet know that PME is investing more and more sustainably. About 40% don’t know whether we’re contributing to a better world. We are keen to say more about investing and how we are doing it more and more sustainably.
  • You appreciate our communication
    Our communication scores an average rating of 7.3. That’s the same as last year. You prefer to receive a personal email or letter by post. The annual pension statement with personal pension amounts rates highest with a score of 7.8. LinkedIn is not as well known, but younger people actually appreciate it, rating it at 7.3.
  • Clear information for everyone
    Some members who live abroad or do not have a Dutch passport find it more difficult to find information or make arrangements. We want to improve that.

What will we do with the responses?

We will build on what’s going well and address areas for improvement. We will make our communications more personal and think about using social media like Instagram to better reach younger people. We will also continue to inform you about the new pension scheme and investing. We will also investigate whether we can offer information in multiple languages in the future.
